Breaking will be held at the Place de la Concorde in the 8th arrondissement of downtown Paris. The venue’s location is right in the heart of Paris and will be particularly popular during the Olympic Games.
If you can find lodging – the best place to stay is nearby in downtown Paris. But hotels and rentals in this area won’t come cheap. The Place de la Concorde is near several prominent Parisian attractions including the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Musée de l’Orangerie, La Madeleine & more.
If you’ll be on a budget, your best bet will probably be to look further away from downtown towards the outskirts of the city. Consider staying near public transport stops to ease your travel and commute times.
Don’t wait until the last minute… around the dates of the Olympics lodging in Paris and surrounding areas will become very scarce and prices will go up.
The address for Place de la Concorde is 75008 Paris, France.
Public transport is available. Be sure to leave extra time for travel as transport systems will be very busy and extra security measures will be in place.
