Le Golf National course is located in Guyancourt/Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, which lies southwest of Paris just beyond Versailles. Local lodging options are available but limited, particularly as the course sits on the outskirts of town. On the bright side, you’ll be close to the Velodrome (if you’d like to see Olympic track cycling or BMX racing) and not too far from the Palace of Versailles (equestrian, anyone?). But you’ll also be competing with spectators of those events for hotel rooms and vacation rentals. So book early.
Many golf spectators may also choose to stay closer to Paris city center, particularly if you’d like to do some sightseeing or attend other Olympic events. Our recommendation is always to stay near public transportation stops (particularly the RER, tram and train lines listed below under “How do you get to Golf National?”) so you can easily move about the city.
The address for Golf National is 2 Av. du Golf, 78280 Guyancourt, France.
According to the Paris 2024 website, Golf National will be served through Massy Palaiseau station (RER lines B & C as well as tram line T12) and Saint‑Quentin‑en-Yvelines station (RER line C, train line N from the Gare Montparnasse (central Paris), and train line U from La Défense station). Special direct shuttle buses for spectators will be running between these stations and the competition venue at Golf National.
