What does the Merlin Annual Pass cost?
As of 3/23/2022 – prices for the Merlin Annual Pass ranged from an annual Discovery Pass costing £89 to Gold/Silver/Platinum membership passes costing £9.99 – £19.99 per month (with 12 month commitment and joining fee). The different pass/membership packages offer varying levels of benefits and eligible dates to use the pass. Check current prices here.
Is the Merlin Annual Pass worth it?
Yes. The Merlin Annual Pass is absolutely worth the price… so long as you use it! The pass is of most benefit to purchasers living in the United Kingdom or who plan to travel outside of London to visit other sites. (If you mainly are going to be around London you can compare the Merlin Annual Pass to other London attraction passes here.) The pass is also good for people who might repeatedly visit the same attractions, particularly some of the locations that are expensive for single day admission.
To get the best value, it's advisable to purchase one of the cheaper pass options and plan your attraction visits on eligible non-peak days. The more expensive pass dates include peak days – and we understand your time off options may be limited, but it's better to avoid the attractions on those busy days anyways.
We'd recommend looking through the Merlin Pass' attraction list (below) and marking your calendar to get out and explore all it has to offer at your own pace throughout the year.
