What is The Paris Pass®?
The Paris Pass® by Go City is Paris' most popular attraction pass. It features access to over 80 attractions, tours & experiences with a choice of duration length ranging from 2-6 consecutive days. The format is simple – choose your package, download it to the official Paris Pass® app, and scan you way to entry.
The Paris Pass® can be purchased here.
What does The Paris Pass® cost?
The price of the Paris Pass® varies by the date purchased due to seasonal travel demand.
As of 6/26/2022 – prices ranged from €124 – €199 for adults (varying from 2-6 days) and €42 – €72 for children. The current price to purchase directly from the vendor can be found here.
Is The Paris Pass® worth it?
Yes. For most visitors the Paris Pass® is worth it because of the number and quality of offerings included. And it's definitely worth it if you plan to utilize the high-priced attractions and tours the pass includes. The pass price per day declines as additional days are added. So if you have time in your itinerary, add an extra day or two so you don't feel rushed to cram several stops into one day.
A little bit of planning is important to maximize the value of the pass. If you are visiting during peak summer holiday travel season, it will take longer to get through sites, particularly the popular attractions (both waiting in line to enter and the actual experience). Plan to group sites by geographical location to limit travel times. Or look for off-peak times to visit.
- Some sites may also require – even with a Paris Pass® – that you pre-book a timed ticket. So you'll need to schedule your itinerary around those times, keeping in mind that delays could occur that could push you off your schedule.
For children – depending on their age – the pass might be worth it. But many Paris-area attractions offer free or specially priced admission for children (check here).
- Visitors often buy Paris attractions passes for their children out of convenience without realizing they probably didn't need to.
- Be aware that for many sites offering free entry for children, you must still book a no-cost ticket to gain entry. Always check beforehand.
